James Walters

Traditional music Director / Organist

James Walters has served Magnolia Presbyterian Church since 1985, first as organist and now as Music Director/Organist. He has also taught at Redlands Adventist Academy since 1985 where he currently teaches World History, U. S. History, Government, Economics, Handbell Ensembles, and 4th grade instrumental music. He occasionally teaches Handbell Methods and Materials in the graduate music program of Concordia University Wisconsin and is writing a book on the history of handbell ringing in America. James and his wife Susan live in Redlands, CA with their four cats – Mocha, Frodo, Sam and Psycho.​
